About Dumbo
In October 2015 we stumbled upon a little old run down milk bar on a leafy street in West Footscray. The milk bar once serviced the local community with staple necessities, school lunches and after school treats. The building fell into disrepair after the milk bar closed and remained vacant for over 20 years.
Over the past 9 months this beautiful, iconic building has undergone extensive renovations, to once again become the heart of the neighbourhood. Dumbo is now open serving all day breakfast, lunch, and some old time milk bar classics.
Our Menu
Our menu changes seasonally with specials available daily. Fresh pastries and sandwiches are available each morning (until sold out) and a range of takeaway items are made handy through the Dumbo Express window. Please note: the menu is subject to change without notice.
